    High Twelve Club meets

    The Greater Ocala Masonic High Twelve Club 665 will hold a luncheon and meeting on Friday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Elks Club, 702 N.E. 25th Ave., Ocala.
    The guest speaker will be Dave Schlenker, columnist for the Ocala Star Banner.
    Following the meeting, we will have a buffet lunch. The cost is $12 per person.

    Santa’s hot rod sleigh in show

    This week’s classic car show, Cruise Night, at the 103rd Street Plaza will include the opportunity to see both classic cars and Santa’s Hot Rod Sleigh, Dec. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.
    The event, sponsored by Scoops Ice Cream, also offers the opportunity to visit Santa and even have your photo taken with the jolly ole fellow. There is free ice cream, from Scoops, for children posing with Santa.

    Medicare questions? Come to the College of Central Florida and speak with SHINE Counselors about your prescription drug plans, Medicare supplements, and more.  This is a free service of the Florida Dept. of Elder Affairs.
    It will be Friday, Nov. 18, all day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the College of Central Florida, Building 42, Room 103 in the Enterprise Center. Bring your Medicare and SS cards/ list of prescriptions/photo ID/letters from Medicare/SS.
