What's the latest at Market Street

A few more stores have recently confirmed openings at the new Market Street at Heath Brook. One is Signature Day Spa and Artsy Abode, which specializes in “unique, one-of-a-kind home dcor, art, jewelry and gifts by American Craftsmen,” according to their Artsy Abode Web site.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is projected to open on April 4, said general manager Perry Moore. The 50,000-sq. ft. sporting goods store features custom golf club fittings, a complete fishing and hunting section, a large selection of apparel and more.

Lowe’s on S.R. 200

The much anticipated Lowe’s store is expected to open in mid to late April, according to Maureen Rich, spokesperson for Lowe’s. Although Lowe’s shopping center will eventually have a co-anchor store, no one has signed on yet to fill the space.

Squashing Rumors

Sarah Molinari, spokesperson for Home Depot, said that at the present time, the company does not have any plans to bring a store to the S.R. 200 area. But that can always change.
