What do we value?

I hope we would say our freedom, and having the ability to pass it down to future generations. I feel so blessed to have been born in this great country, having the opportunities that no other nation offers, a nation that has always honored God and puts our faith in him. I love to lead in the singing of “God Bless the USA” and feel the patriotism flowing from all who are within hearing distance. Most join in the singing of the Chorus, “I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free” and stand without being asked. Yes, freedom is something we should never take for granted and always honor the brave men and women who have given their lives to preserve this freedom.

Unfortunately, we have those today who put America down, apologize to other countries for our “behavior,” do not honor our military, don’t believe we are an exceptional country, and demand we not refer to terrorists as terrorists. They promote class warfare and the spreading of our wealth, not only among us but to other countries as well, not recognizing that we have done more for other countries than any other nation in history. They believe the government can manage your money better than you can and believe in having government taking over our businesses, our airwaves, health care, finances and even our behavior. If they have their way they will be telling us where to live, what union we have to work for and how much you should be allowed to make. After all individual responsibility is just too much to ask of us, it’s just not fair for some to have more than others, despite their hard work and ambitions to better themselves.

They prefer we move to a world government and world economy, gladly giving up our sovereignty as individual states and a nation. They willingly side with illegal immigrants over the rights of our own citizens. We should overlook the costs and criminal acts incurred due to these illegals and give up on sending them back, it’s just too much trouble. They don’t know the meaning of illegal!

It is obvious who doesn’t love what we have been and wants to transform us into something else. There are good people on each side of the political spectrum, it’s just sad to see us lose our precious freedom.

Think about it this election year, what America do YOU value?
