Yard sale is Saturday

By Harry Unger Jr.

Pine Run Estates recently held two events at Clubhouse Two: the Halloween Carnival on Oct. 29 and the Veterans Pancake Breakfast on Nov. 5. Both events were well attended and very successful, thanks to the preparations and the support of many Pine Run volunteers.
Coming soon will be Pine Run’s Yard Sale, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m. to noon outside Clubhouse One. Those who arrive early will have the best chance to buy the item their fancy desires. There will be many items available at the most attractive prices.
On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Pine Run Members of ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) will have their monthly luncheon at a restaurant yet to be chosen.
Also, scheduled for Nov. 19 is the Country Western Dinner Dance at Clubhouse Two, from 6 to about 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 per person. So put on your spurs and Western garb and BYOB, and have a good time.
Because of the Country Western Dance, the Pot Luck Dinner will not be held this month.
The Thanksgiving dinner, with turkey and all the trimmings, will be held on Nov. 24 at Clubhouse Two. Tickets are $7 and those attending are asked to contribute a dessert. Bon appétit!
