Travel, bingo and a club meeting

By Eloise Hollyfield
Super Bingo will be held in the H&R Ballroom on Wednesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. This event is for residents only; no guests are permitted.
Residents must show their own proper OTOW ID to purchase cards.
The minimum card purchase is three cards for $5 or you can get six cards for $10. Seventeen $50 games and three $250 coveralls will be played. Cards will be sold 5 to 5:45 p.m.
A large crowd is typical, so arrive early. Bring some extra money because in addition to the usual 70/30 drawing, there will be a bake sale to benefit the March of Dimes.

New England Club
On March 15, many of the club members got a head-start on St. Paddy’s by the wearing of the green.”
This theme was carried out with very creative table centerpieces and, in keeping with the “luck of the Irish” theme; a delicious pot luck meal was prepared by member volunteers which, yes, included a traditional cabbage dish!
Lorraine Benotti was the lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle, and several other lucky members took home a centerpiece. Attendees had the good fortune to be in attendance to enjoy the hilarious skits and the talented singers, all performers of the Golden Troopers of the Ocala Civic Theatre.
The next meeting is Thursday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Arbor Club Main Ballroom. Scheduled entertainment is our own Gates Landry.

On the Road Again

A small deposit will hold space on this trip which is fully refundable up to final payment for any reason.
