Reservations are being taken for a 13-day Alaska Tour and Cruise Aug. 31 to Sept. 12. The cruise is on the Island Princess, with land lodging at Princess Lodges. The five-day land tour is to Fairbanks, Denali Park, Mt. McKinley and Anchorage. There is a seven-day cruise from Whittaker to Vancouver, BC, with visits to Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
Please note the following correction from that which was reported in the March 2 issue: transfer to the Orlando Airport, air fare, and recommended insurance is not included the costs; these expenses are additional. Softball League
There has been very little change in the standings, as The Great Clips team continues to hold on to first place, despite their one loss during the week. The Dr. Dunn team is inching closer because they are starting to meld together again, but can it be too late? Maybe, but there are plenty of games left to play, and The Great Clips team could go into a slump. The Wiseway team has started to show some life with its two straight wins this past week. The team has been struggling all season, and two consecutive wins might be just what is needed.
The Tee Pee Tire and Cebert Wealth teams continue to share fourth place, while Florida Eye is trying to get out of their slump. It may turn out to be a close run for the top if the Florida Eye and Dr. Dunn teams can muster up some energy and get over their erratic play.
Ultimately, it’s now time to wait and see what will transpire with the teams.
