Operation 'Can't Touch This’ nets 7 seeking sex with children online

-A A +A

Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies recently assisted the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in identifying and capturing offenders seeking sex with children online.

During Operation “Can’t Touch This,” each defendant made arrangements to have sex with a girl or boy in Marion County between the ages of 13-15 years old. In reality, they were chatting with undercover law enforcement officers, not children. Seven men were arrested during the operation, after they traveled to a location in Ocala to have sex with the child they thought they had been messaging online. Instead, law enforcement was waiting to put them in handcuffs.

During the online interactions with the suspects, all of them engaged in lewd conversations with the “child” and described the sexual acts they wished to do with them.

Some of the men sent inappropriate pictures to the undercover officers as well. One of the suspects, Donald Willingham, brought suspicious items to the meeting location, such as rope and a sleeping bag.

Nathan Collins (DOB: 12/02/1996), Anthony Michael Guiliani (DOB: 08/09/1977), Nicholas Samuel Rogers (DOB: 12/30/1992) and Christopher Molinaro (DOB: 07/10/1998) were arrested.

They received the following charges: Soliciting a Child for Unlawful Sexual Conduct using Computer Services or Devices, Traveling to Meet a Minor to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device.

Geoffrey Johnson (DOB: 05/08/1990) was charged with Soliciting a Child for Unlawful Sexual Conduct using Computer Services or Devices through a Parent, Traveling to Meet a Minor to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device.

Charles A. Smith (DOB: 07/05/1984) was charged with Soliciting a Child for Unlawful Sexual Conduct using Computer Services or Devices, Traveling to Meet a Minor to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act, and Transmission of Material Harmful to a Minor.

Donald Ambros Willingham (DOB: 12/07/1946) was charged with Soliciting a Child for Unlawful Sexual Conduct using Computer Services or Devices through a Guardian, Traveling to Meet a Minor to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device.

“Wrong-doers are all around us, but these individuals are pure evil,” Sheriff Billy Woods said. “We cannot and will not set aside our relentless efforts of pursuing these predators who prey on our precious children. These evil-doers are now the prey and we are the hunters who will bring them to justice.”

We express our sincerest gratitude to Ocala Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Tallahassee Police Department, and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
