A quadriplegic living in a home on Southwest 103rd Street Road was arrested and accused of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mark J. Weiner, 46, was arrested after deputies responded to his home late on June 5 acting on a tip. There were also women listed as caregivers present in the home, but Weiner allegedly told officers that he alone was responsible for growing the illegal substance, which he said was an experiment.

He was transported to the jail by one of his employees, where he was placed under arrest. After being booked, he was released on his own recognizance.

David Davis, 63, of Southwest 95th Court, was accused of DUI after being stopped following a citizen’s complaint at a convenience store at State Road 200 and 60th Avenue. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. At the jail, he could not give a breath sample. He was booked and released later on June 5 on a $500 surety bond.

Zachariah David Holt, 17, of Bushnell, was accused of petit theft, felony tampering with a witness and resisting without violence, after he allegedly stole a cell phone and ran from the victim and, after being spotted at Walmart’s parking lot, resisted attempts by a deputy to handcuff him.
