The following reports were provided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office:

Ryan L. Beck, 25, of Salt Springs, was accused of petit theft and financial fraud after he allegedly took a telephone out of Walmart without paying for it, then tried to return it, saying he did not have a receipt.

Jonathan D. Simms, 20, of Southwest 37th Drive, was accused of burglary, grand theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after a burglary at a residence on Southwest 66th Court.

A residential burglary occurred on Southwest 152nd Place in which a generator, gas blower and compressor were taken.

A burglary of a locked car parked at Chili’s was reported. A GPS system was taken.

A burglary of a locked vehicle parked at Beef O’Brady’s was reported. A GPS system, wireless headphones, a remote control and two DVDs were taken.

A theft of diesel fuel from a storage tank at Laurel Mountain Stone on County Road 484 was reported.
