Burglary nets money, two guns

Deputies are investigating a burglary of a home that netted the thief a small amount of money and two firearms. The incident took place at Southwest 52nd Terrace in Timberwood.

In other incidents reported:

Two suspects, one a juvenile, were accused of burglary after a residence at Southwest 150th Street in Dunnellon was broken into. Chris Casey Bryant, 18, of Southwest 158th Lane, Dunnellon, was accused of burglary, and Michael Allen Gibbs, 15, of Southwest 29th Court Road, Ocala, was accused of residential burglary.

Deputies investigating the apparent theft of two personal watercraft on Southwest 112th Place Road in Whispering Pines later discovered that the items had been repossessed.

Deputies are investigating a burglary of The Mulch and Stone Emporium on Southwest State Road 200 in which a pickup truck and items were stolen. The truck was recovered several days later after it was involved in an accident in Lake City.

Josey N. Boone, 27, of Southwest 59th Street, Ocala, was accused of retail petit theft after an incident at Walmart involving the theft of a vacuum cleaner.

Fredrick Benton, 17, of Southwest 100th Lane, Ocala, and Teofilo Deaza, 16, of the same address were accused of grand theft auto after after a work truck was stolen from Southwest 112th Place Road.

Joseph Stephen Martin, 30, of Southwest 46th Court, Ocala, was accused of DUI after being stopped on State Road 200 for failing to maintain a single lane. After being arrested after failing the field sobriety test, his breath test results were 0.288 and 0.298, more than three times over the legal limit of .08.
