Come to an Ocala event this Saturday

The Ocala Chapter of The Compassionate Friends welcomes bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings to attend the 2016 Spring Picnic & Butterfly Release on Saturday, April 23 – R.S.V.P. Immediately at (352) 804-7082 or (352) 840-0051!
This year’s TCF spring picnic and butterfly release will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jervey Gantt Park, 2200 SE 36th Ave. – large pavilion. There is no charge to attend The Compassionate Friends picnic. TCF will provide the main course, however, attending families are asked to bring a covered side dish or dessert to share. Butterflies for the release, are available at a cost of one butterfly for $10, two butterflies for $15, or three butterflies for $20.

The Compassionate Friends is a non-profit mutual assistance, self-help organization, offering friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents, and adult siblings. The purpose of this support group is not to focus on the cause of death, or the age of the child, but to support the bereaved in the positive resolution of grief, and their efforts to achieve physical and emotional health.
