Great American

Tea Party

Despite liberal media articles to the contrary, more than one million Americans participated in more than  800 different Tea Parties throughout the U.S.A.

I was honored to be one of the attendees at the noon Ocala party which was a resounding success.

It wasn’t a Republican party; it included all parties made up of Americans who still honor individual freedom, responsibility, free enterprise, and limited government with accountability.

It began with prayer in recognition that this is still a Christian nation, followed by the pledge, then the National Anthem, led by two wonderful teenage girls.

You had to be there to feel the tremendous outpouring of love for our country and the determination to not destroy it through government power and spending.

This huge debt will destroy the futures of our children and grandchildren and this fact cannot be denied! The theme to pass on to our leaders: Repeal or resign!

What problem can anyone have with meetings such as these unless your agenda is to destroy America as we know it?

Despite articles to the contrary, socialism is not good for America as it destroys individual initiative, rewarding those who desire government to “take care of me” at the expense of those who believe in individual responsibility and opportunity.

No, I don’t want to pay for your medical bills, your college costs and your home ownership!

Our Constitution does not say the government is to take care of you. Never has. Never should. If you want to be like Canada, please move there, or to another country. Don’t try to destroy ours.

I am convinced that most Americans don’t want our President apologizing to other countries, stating we are an arrogant nation, or bowing down to an Islam leader.

We want a President and Congress that listens to God-fearing Americans, and who still believes that God is in charge, and that includes so-called Global Warming. (Another subject for another day.)

It was nice to know that I don’t stand alone in loving my God and country.

God bless America!

Increase in

National Debt

The recent G-20 meeting of the leaders of the world’s top industrial nations, in London, was a success. President Obama and the other leaders discussed the world-wide economic crisis. Some of those leaders must have asked for help. When Obama returned home, the Federal Reserve announced new lines of credit of $108 billion to the European Central Bank, $99 billion to the Bank of Japan, $45 billion to the Bank of England and $35 billion to the Swiss National Bank. That’s $287 billion to add to the $750 billion bailout we are giving to banks and businesses here at home.

There is also the $787 billion stimulus plan for projects and incentives within the states, the territories and D. C. The first two projects in this plan have been funded. The first was for Infrastructure Improvements: total costs, $38.1 billion; California received the most at $3.9 billion; Florida’s payment was $1.7 billion; the average state payment was $747 million. The second distribution was for Adult Employment Services: total costs $1.7 billion; California again received the largest payment at $302 million: Florida’s payment was $99.9 million; the average state payment $33.3 million.

Back in January, the $410 billion ‘adjustment’ that Obama and the Democrats made to Bush’s 2009 budget, was loaded with some 8,800 congressional earmarks that cost over $7.6 billion. California again led the way with 733 earmarks totaling $569 million. Florida had 338 earmarks totaling $252 million. The average earmarks per state was 160 and the average cost per state was $139 million.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, controls the intent and the content of all government spending bills that originate in the House. All of the $758 billion in the states stimulus plan has not been allocated and Obama’s record $3.6 billion budget for 2010 contains many opportunities for many new earmarks. Speaker Pelosi and the rest of the Democratic congressional leaders have so much money to distribute to their House and Senate members that congressional approval of Obama’s plan to ‘change’ our country is assured.

These massive spending levels and the unknown costs of Obama’s yet- to-be released plans for universal health care and energy independence have alarmed leaders in government, industries and universities. These experts predict the national debt will markedly increase in the next decade and reach an unsustainable level in 2020. Interest on this debt must be paid, by cash, with money from our income taxes. When we can no longer pay this interest, the government will default and our country will go bankrupt. To avoid this condition, government spending must be reduced, income taxes for all income levels must be increased and consumer spending must be kept at the highest level possible.

The government expects us to follow its fiscal example, spend all of our income and incur massive debt. If we don’t, our country will fail. That may not be a bad idea. After 240 years of success, we will get to start all over and make some constitutional changes to gain control of the greed and politics that caused this failure.

Changes in

Bill of Rights

Say goodbye to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Amendment I

Amendment V

Bush ruled this no longer exists.

Amendment IX

Bush ruled this no longer exists.

Amendment X

Bush ruled this no longer exists.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

The Bush Bill of Rights has been used against Americans, supposedly for protection against terrorists.

Bush ruled you no longer have the protection of the Bill of Rights.

Standing for the

Pledge of Allegiance

Marion County School Board members should change the wording on the requirement “not to stand” for the Pledge of Allegiance to “all students should be required to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and will be punished for not standing.”

The students probably will not cooperate.

Therefore, you should require notification from the parent “not to stand” as you require from parents when a student is absent from school.

The Federal Government has assumed powers reserved for the states in the Constitution of the United States of America – and time has come for us to demand States Rights.

The 10th Amendment of the Constitution says the Federal Government cannot delegate any powers not in the Constitution.

If we do not change our focus in our educational system, we are going to lose our nation.

Let’s have

more rage

So Joe Peck is “in a rage” over bumper stickers – well, being a Republican I’ve had to develop a thick skin, so bumper stickers haven’t bothered me. However, I’ll tell you what does enrage me:

Thanks to the Democratic Congressmen/ women (past and present) more American babies are murdered than born in our country.

The Pledge of Allegiance is no longer allowed in schools – unlike bare navels on girls and bum cracks on boys.

Black History is mandatory; American History is no longer taught.

Respect for flag, country and the military is discouraged.

Christmas is on its way out; Winter Holidays are in.

Any reference to Jesus is discouraged or prohibited outright; however, Allah is acceptable to the courts.

Christianity, on which our Country was founded, is not allowed to be taught in our schools; however, Islam is allowed.

It is legal to buy cigarettes; it is illegal to smoke them and, in some places, that includes your own home.

Children are given a thorough sex education in “all” its perversity and extremes ... except for one: restraint and self-control. Society isn’t big on children having self control in any areas now.

The Democrats have taken or are in the process of taking my schools, my cigarettes, my SUV,  my health coverage, my savings, my great, great grandchildren’s savings, my job, my pension, the value of my home, my God, my Constitution and my Country.

Now talk show hosts who “tell it like it is” are targeted and, apparently, so are bumper stickers.

Homeland Security lists our “protesters” (a previous liberty once enjoyed by Martin Luther King and followers) as “Right Wing Extremists” and have advised “to watch out for people supporting the Second Amendment, pro-lifers, anti-illegal immigration, and returning veterans. They are to be feared.”

I would think that, at least, Americans are “expected” to support all the Amendments to the Constitution. Guess which one the Democrats have earmarked for extinction.

Makes sense. That one was put in “early in the game” because the Founding Fathers did not want any government (even their own) to enslave the population as England had tried to do.

The “militia” referred to is the one the people put together to defend themselves from Indians and English Politicians, not the State Militia which is used to “control” citizens.

One of the first things Hitler did when he took power was to pass gun laws and demand all guns be registered.  Later, using those registrations, he had all the guns confiscated and the people were at his mercy.

Can’t wait to see what President Obama and our Democratic Congress has in mind.

Am I “crazy” for thinking this way?  Joe wants to ban bumper stickers. You think he’s going to stand for gun possession?

You think Obama is your President, Democrats of America?

Oh no, he is spun out of whole cloth by the Media and Hollywood. Ironic isn’t it that newspapers are starting to go out of business but talk radio is making T.V. nervous with its success.

Tell you, Joe, I can’t feel too sorry for your rage about those bumper stickers because I had to listen to you and your fellow Democrats whine for nine years about George Bush and blame him for everything from lack of hurricane preparedness (skimming lightly over the facts that Louisiana’s Democratic Governor and New Orleans Democratic Mayor found better projects for the Federal Funds they were given to rebuild the levies) to the abuses of the recipients of the National Give Away Our Future Bills (no mention of the abuse by Congress of building in lots of Pork to buy votes).

Good old George, Congress passed laws and demanded concessions from banks and business that brought down our economy, but they had good old George to blame. After all he was President.  I blame him, too.

Knowing what he was up against, he should have hired enough staff to scour every bill for pork and idiot pressures and vetoed it. Sure, they could have still rammed it through with their majority but it would have been a little harder to pass off all the responsibility on George. He’s been out of office 3-1/2 months, yet Democrats still blame him for everything they do. And NOW they have a puppy in the White House. Will George ever get to retire?

Yep, I can see why the bumper stickers would bother you. They are little pieces of paper with a couple of words of truth.

Ocala Who is our enemy?

The number two enemies of America are the banks, financial institutions and large corporations who thumb their noses at our government while giving themselves large salaries and bonuses while their companies lose billions of dollars.

Our government’s strong response is to say, “Gee, I hope they use some of the bailout money to help our country in its time of need.”

Our elected representatives in congress have the spine and backbone of a snake to accept the lies they are being told from the banking industry executives.

The number one real enemy of our government is the unionized American automobile industry worker who is now receiving a reduced salary more in line with the workers of the American-made foreign automobile industry.

Our government feels that the negotiated health benefit package that the American automobile workers negotiated in good faith is too expensive for their industry to survive.

Who do these American auto workers think they are that they should have health benefits for their families? Members of congress?

Wake up America. There are those in our government who are against auto workers receiving health benefits. Of course, it is proper for our members of congress to receive the best health care in the world at no cost to themselves because they are entitled.
