The Sunshine State
Florida is known as the Sunshine State, but the governor and the state Legislature do not believe in solar power. Florida has more than 600 miles of beaches and doesn't believe in hydro power. Florida has a shortage in drinking water and will not invest in ways to desalinate the water surrounding our state to supply our residents with drinking water.
Most of these failures can be attributed to our minimum wage job creating governor and our Republican-led Legislature that are in control of all political decisions made in the Sunshine State. Do we blame the Republicans for doing what they believe in or blame the Democrats for allowing it to happen.
In the Sunshine State the Republicans fight to gain control of the leading political positions in our state capital while the Democrats argue among themselves and become convinced that it is not worth the effort to vote!
