Do you have what it takes to participate in “The 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest – Fill the Blue Suede Shoes” at the Circle Square Cultural Center on July 9 in Ocala?

If you think you’re good enough, and if you are at least 18 years of age, submit a video of your best Elvis tribute performance for review by our panel and if you’re selected, you will compete in auditions against other Elvis tribute artists (ETA) in Ocala on July 8, beginning at 9 a.m. From these auditions, the top 15 ETA finalists will compete on the evening of July 9 in Ocala for the opportunity to go on to the finals in Memphis, Tennessee during Elvis Week in August.

The auditions and show will be judged by Ocala Civic Theatre Executive Director Mary Britt; Marion Cultural Alliance Chairman Bill Lodzinski; Marion Senior Services Community Resources Director Rosey Moreno-Jones; Clear Channel Outdoor President Rus Adams; veteran local performer Bob O’Neal.
