Beverly Hills man

arrested for drugs

While a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy was patrolling the Chatmire area on June 25, he noticed a 1999 white Toyota that failed to stop at the intersection of S.W. 198th Terrace and S.W. 108th Lane.

When the vehicle was stopped, the driver gave the deputy his Florida identification card instead of a license. A computer check revealed his driver’s license had been revoked for five years and he is on “habitual traffic offender status,” according to a sheriff’s report.

He was arrested and searched, which revealed several pieces of suspected crack cocaine. It was later field-tested and was positive for the presence of cocaine.

Justin David Signorino, 23, of Beverly Hills, was arrested and charged with drug possession-felony and driving while license is suspended or revoked-felony. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Battery

n On June 23, a simple domestic battery was reported in the 2400 block of S.W. 189th Avenue.

n A simple battery was reported in the 16000 block of S.W. 47th Place Road on June 28.

Vehicle burglary

On June 28, a vehicle burglary and grand theft was reported at Rainbow Springs State Park.

Burglary

A trailer was stolen from a home in Meadow Woods Farms on June 28.

Counterfeit

On June 24, the Dollar General store in the 19000 block of S.W. 56th Lane received a counterfeit $20 bill.

Criminal Mischief

A mailbox was damaged in the 18000 block of S.W. 31st Street on June 25.

Dunnellon Police

Department

Yolanda Chew, 34, of Dunnellon, was arrested and charged with domestic battery on June 19. She was taken to the Marion County Jail.

The following day, Chew was arrested again for violation of pre-trial release conditions. She was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Patrick Myers, 30, of Citrus Springs, was arrested and charged with resisting without violence and violation of probation at MT Pockets on June 25. He received a trespass warning from the business and was taken to the Marion County Jail.

On June 28, John Tabb, 54, of Dunnellon, was arrested and charged with petty retail theft at the Walmart Supercenter. He was given a notice to appear in court.

Jennifer Wilber, 22, of Inverness, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor drug possession on June 20. She was given a notice to appear in court.

Wilbert Gaines, 22, of Dunnellon, was arrested and charged with trespassing after warning on June 16. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

On June 14, three people were arrested at the Walmart Supercenter. Robert Wiley, Jr., 26, of Floral City, James McQuilkin, 35, of Inverness and Tiffany Ellison, 18, of Floral City, were arrested and charge with grand retail theft. Wiley and McQuilkin were also charged with resisting a merchant. They were taken to the Marion County Jail.
