Club news, entertainment, and learning opportunities constitute this week’s OTOW Happenings.

New England Club
New England Club members continue their community outreach by making monthly donations to Ocala’s Interfaith Emergency Services Food Pantry. Information in an acknowledgement letter from Interfaith informed club informed members that the number of people in need is rapidly increasing! Given the need, club members wish to let readers know that food donations can be made through local churches, etc. to this charity.
Gate Landry’s musical talents (vocal and instrumental) included a group sing-a-long which was enjoyed by everyone at the April meeting.
Vacation! On May 17 (1 to 3:30), club members will meet at the Arbor Club Ballroom. As previously announced, due to many of our members migrating back to the Northeast during the summer, May will be our last meeting until October 2012.
Scheduled for the upcoming meeting will be guest speaker Captain Jon Semmes from Singing River Tours. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided by club volunteers, as well as 50/50, etc. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for this special meeting!

Travel Toppers
Travel Toppers is going to the Show Palace Dinner Theater on Thursday, June 28, to see New York Nights. This all-new musical revue features high energy singing and dancing to the sounds of Motown, Rock and Roll, Disco, and Broadway. Cost is $71 per person and includes the show, coach, a delicious buffet meal, and tips for meal and driver.
Don’t miss this fabulous show- call in your reservation to Linda Hein at 352-861-9880 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. All trips are for OTOW-only residents and their guests. The new spring brochure has many exciting trips; pick up your copy at OTOW mail centers or at the H&R Building.
