Entertainment and travel mark this week’s OTOW Happenings.

OTOW Theatre Group
Just one more week and the musical show of the year will be presented in the H&R Ballroom! This event occurs on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11-12, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. Tickets are still available at $8 for reserved seating and $6 for general seating.
There are old favorites, rousing songs, followed by love songs, and a couple of skits that are sure to make you laugh. You simply do not want to miss the entertainment!
It has been a lot of fun and, of course, hard work, to put together this type of production, so we do hope you will please come out and support your Community Theatre.
The OTOW Theatre Group is a friendly, fun-oriented group whose aim is to encourage residents to let their hair down and try something new. Working with this group can be such an exciting experience, and there is always a great deal of support from everyone!
In addition to acting and singing, there are many other ways to contribute your talents, such as being part of the scenic design, props construction, and behind the scenes help.
If interested in becoming a part of this vivacious group, join them at one of their meetings to determine if this is the group that best meets your creative needs. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in Room D at the Arbor Club Conference Center; entertainment and refreshments are typically available. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 14.
For further information, contact Anne at 352-732-0706.
On the Road Again
Bob Woods has a couple of cabins (inside and balcony) still available for the Jan. 30 sailing trip on the Jewel of the Seas, a five-night jaunt to Cozumel and Costa Maya. The price includes transportation, gratuities for the cabin steward, dining room wait staff, plus a one-hour open bar cocktail party.
The recent trip to Boston was a fantastic success. The weather was perfect, and tourists visited many historic locations. In keeping with the success of this fall weather trip, Mr. Woods has now booked a nine-day motor coach trip to Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard for September 2012. Additionally, another fabulous seven-day trip to the Smoky Mountains, which will take in six shows in Pigeon Forge, departs in November 2012.
Looking forward to spring, a seven-night cruise headed into Hawaiian waters in April 2012 is scheduled. This seven-night cruise includes a night-time sail past Mount Kilauea before heading for Vancouver and spending an additional two-night stay in Seattle before heading home.
Call Bob at 352-854-0702 for additional information and flyers.
