The Photography Club will display the winning photos from their year-end competition and the library will be having a book sale (beginning at 8:30 a.m.) There will be hundreds of VHS tapes and DVD's at great prices. The proceeds fund the library. Let's keep the Fourth of July spirit going by wearing our red, white and blue one more time.

Carol Ann's Corner

It seems hard to believe but I have now been here in Oak Run for 15 years. A few years ago I made some relatively major changes to the flooring, furniture and wall color but now I am having a yen to shake things up again. Not being a "house proud" person by nature I have been able to look at the same old same old for quite a long time. For example, when I had the walls painted beige I realized that it was the first time in all the places I have lived in my adult life that the walls weren't white! I can't wait to see what I come up with this time. But, of course, the first step should be to find more appropriate places for all the unfiled papers in the second bedroom, and, put away the Christmas decorations that are still lying there. (I told you I could ignore things around the house for quite a long time.)
