The inaugural “Be a Fan” benefit golf tournament for Special Olympics Marion County, sponsored by the Ocala Palms Community, will be Saturday, Sept. 17, at Ocala Palms Golf and Country Club.

Toys for Tots golf
The first Marine Corps League Toys for Tots Golf Tournament will take place Saturday, Sept. 17, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. at Rainbow Springs Golf and Country Club. It is open to everyone.
The event is a four-player scramble (free sleeve of balls), with the men from the white tees and ladies from red tees.
Rainbow Springs members with a cart pay $35, and non-members and members without a cart pay $50. This includes lunch and raffle prizes.
Net proceeds will be given to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and Marine Corps League 1072. For information contact Fred Hawatineck at 352-465-6639 or call the clubhouse.
