Dorothy L. Overly, 91

Dorothy L. Overly, 91, of Ocala, passed away at Munroe Regional Medical Center on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Jan. 10, 1921 to parents, Lee and Evelyn (Whitney) Riley.
She was an accomplished seamstress and also loved needlepoint. Dorothy moved to Ocala from Marietta, Ga., in 1985 and was a founding member of Countryside Presbyterian Church.
She will be greatly missed by those who survive her, including her husband, Fenton; daughter, Joy Hertzig-Harter; stepchildren, Linda (James) Peters and Gary (Deborah) Overly; grandchildren, David Lee Hertzig, Bethany Dawn Hertzig, and Laura (Thomas) Phillips.
