Are you ready for some soccer?

Joy Evangelical Lutheran Church is now ready for some spring soccer! They are looking for boys and girls from 4 years to 6th grade to register for this fun and encouraging sports experience.
Players may register at the church office on Saturday, Feb. 4, from noon to 5 p.m.; on Monday, Feb. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 8 and 9 from 4 to 6 p.m.; and Friday, Feb. 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. The registration fee is $65 per child, which includes a reversible jersey, water bottle, socks, and car magnet. Scholarships are available.
All players must have a soccer evaluation, which will occur at the time of registration that helps to promote equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system.
Practice begins Tuesday, Feb. 14 and the first game is scheduled for Saturday, March 3. All events will occur at Hope Field at Joy Lutheran Church. So get your child registered to learn the skills of the game and an opportunity to experience good sportsmanship.
Volunteers are needed to help with coaching, registering the participants and organizing the players.
