64th anniversary

Mary and John Miks of Deer Creek are celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary today, Jan. 28. They were married in Detroit, but have lived in this area for 24 years. He worked in a factory in Detroit and she was in housekeeping and worked in a nursing home. They have two children, Larry of Detroit and Linda Morrell of Ocala; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Both are charter members of the Moose Lodge.
